About the Artist:

Michael Pavlovsky lives and works in Fort Worth, Texas. He received a B.S.L.A. from Texas A & M and a M.F.A. from the University of North Texas in sculpture. He has taught at UNT and Tarrant County College.

Mr. Pavlovsky is well-known for his bronze sculpture totems with human and archeological elements. The work commissioned by Hall is about mankind helping each other to achieve their goals. Other important commissions include a large-scale sculpture for the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, the Botanical Gardens, St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Tarrant Country College Library in Fort Worth and the Grapevine Veterans Memorial in Grapevine, Texas. He has been in solo and group exhibitions nationally and throughout Texas.
